Our Philosophy The Brian Rourke frame-building philosophy is simple "If your feet, hands and bum are in the right place, on a well balanced bike and if you want it enough, you will find success"!
Therefore every bike is tailor made to the customer’s requirements. We always recommend a visit to our shop then we can take as much time as it needs to get you the perfect frameset. People come from all over the world and they’re all impressed by what they see. Every Brian Rourke Frameset is built from start to finish by one person. We will never compromise quality for quantity. In these modern times we use a range of state of the art materials from Reynolds and Dedacciai. Jason, Brian's son (shown right,) is the torch wielding genius who perfects each and every frame, from raw tubes to a hand painted work of art. He is also one of the few people in the UK who builds using Reynolds 953. Our frame prices are very competitive and we are proud of our complete bikes - We try to compete with anyone in the country on bikes equipped with components from Campagnolo, Shimano, Sram, Mavic, Ritchey, etc.
It is an indication of the value-for-money that a Brian Rourke frame represents, that when a cycling magazine runs a frame group test, a Rourke frame will perform as well as frames costing hundreds of pounds more. Brian Rourke Headcrest A Rourke frame stands out from the competition, with its wrap-over seat stay - a legendary Brian Rourke trademark on the tastefully uncluttered frames. Our Rourke Crest has adorned every Rourke frameset.
